I realize the ads are here for a reason, but they do really slow up the site loading time even on my dsl line (I think its the bottom one that does it most.)
Is there any way to quicken them up loading or any other ideas, 'tis getting annoying!?

No one else finds the ads significantly slowing down page loading?

I have the same problem too.

I keep getting that, "504 Gateway Time-out" at the bottom. Right after the site slows down (nearly freezing up) for me.

Cable Modem here with a 6.5-7.5 Mbps download.
I have nothing to do with the site pages so you'll have to send a PM to JoeyChgo.

I've got a 5Mbps DSL line and it still slows the pages loading, it's always the "googlesyndication.com, ads.shoppingads, ads.auctionads.com..." that it's hanging on/take the time...

For those of you who are seeing problems w/the site loading slowly, you may want to try Firefox Web browser, by Mozilla. I use Firefox, and it loads really fast, even on dial up--They "remember" the same things that stay the same, (Such as the adds on the right) and just replace the different things, (such as our posts). You can find the free download here:
It actually has more to do with the server. I had to move all my sites to this server, which slows it down a bit. I have started moving the other sites back to their server, so things should improve.

It's real bad tonight. I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" in the cells up top that house the ads. I have to click back like 3-4 times before it will 'jump' over the ads loading and go back to the previous page I was on...
It's not loading the ads on the bottom either.
