Outside Temp

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hello

I have 05 towncar. The climate control says its a 117 I live in Chicago so I know this is is not true. the other thing is that the heat only works on 90 and if you put it on 85 you get cold air.

Any1

Thanks

Your outside ambient temperature sensor is bad which is also causing your heat issue (setting the temperature to 90 bypasses automatic blend door operation and puts it to full heat regardless of ambient temp)

Is your car still under warranty?

If not, don't worry. The part is not expensive and is easy to replace if you wanted to do it yourself.
