Has anyone tried to paint a body kit, or anything on their car themselves? I was wandering around today in Wal-mart when I saw a air compressor and a auto-paint spray gun.. Then I got to thinking.. If I could/can get the paint that matches my car (That's a BIG IF) could I paint a bodykit that I want to get instead of spending $$$$$ to have someone else do it???

I'm not opposed to having a professional do it. But I just wonder. If anyone has any info, tips, etc.. Is anyone opposed of doing this? Are there any laws against it. Please feell free to give your 2 cents worth.
