Hello all
I am jim from nc and Im a lincoln owner and I think this is what it feels like to be at an AA meeting. lol! I bought my lincoln in 2002 and have had great service out of it, I just hate buying tires. I am dealing with one problum that is getting worse and that is an oil leak on the drivers side. It seams to be comming from the bolts in the valve cover or the valve cover gaskets.m it is a 2001 lincoln ls v8. well its nice to be here thanks to anyone that may offer suggestions to this issue.

welcome.
the vavle cover gasket is a very very common issue on Gen1 LSes. When you have a momment, do a search on it you'll get the run down. It's a fairly big job (not hard but frustrating) for a DIYer. The dealer will want nearly $1400 for it. There is a tech tip on it.
You need to fix it - or it leads to problems with coils, misfires and oil dripping onto the exhaust manifold...
