New tires...

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

got new tires on the Ls. had toyo proxes 4s, 225/55/16.

now i have 4 Yokohama AVID TRZ 215/60/16.

tires have a bigger sidewall, takes awhile to visually get used to since ive known the car its whole life with 55's. other then that there a great set of tires. nice and quiet. there T rated (118mph). i dont know about you guys but i dont have a need to go over 80-90mph in my lincoln anymore so they work well. wet weather traction is AWESOME, light snow and deep snow there the best rated all season tires out there. ice they also scored higher then most other tires. the ride seems to be smoother, not to mention the difference the quietness makes.

If anyone is looking for tires i suggest em.

EDIT: i guess i should compare them to the toyo proxes. basically last year when it snowed i got stuck on a speed bump in my apartment complex, couldnt get enough traction to gain enough speed to make it over in foward or reverse. also drove down the road mostly sideways becuase the road was slightly slanted lol. so im praying it snows again so i can put these babys to the test!
