(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Ive found the product, ive found where to buy it. VHT night shades...

what im looking for is pictures. does anyone have the headlights on there LS tinted?

i have eye lids but i just think it would look better tinted.

also planning on doing the taillights and maybe reverse lights.

If anyone has done there headlights can i get pics posted? also just a random thought, if you did your headlights would you do the Fog lights??

Hope this helps you. This is not my car but I found an LS with tinted headlights and much more.

Personally I would advise not to tint headlights or foglights because that will that will decrease light output.

Would it be possible to paint the reflective interior of the lights a mirrored black? I think that would look nicer, and shouldn't lessen the amount of light as much.

thanks jk52781,

That looks pretty slick to me!

as far as your question andrew, i have no clue of any such black mirrored paint.

look at my pics on cardomain dark tails

The reflectors do just that, reflect! They are there to increase the light output of your stock bulbs. Painting them will greatly decrease your visibility at night. I would highly suggest not painting the reflectors, or tinting the headlights.

It will, Much much more than you think.

i wouldn't do it, i wouldn't sacrifice my safety for looks

^^^^^What he said^^^^^

No loss of light is justifiable. Maybe tinting the tail lights but not the headlights. I'm not sure, but aren't there mods to the upper part of the light like an eye brow that look good and modify the light output minimally if at all.

^^true^^
the eyebrows only partially cover the headlight and causes almost no light output loss, and also looks more aggressive

Same here. Im all for modding a car for tasteful looks. Heck, I swapped out my tail and sidelights for smoked versions on my other car. I also changed the headlights out for the OEM Euro projector lights..as much for looks as for function.

But to intentionally reduce the light output or visibility for the sake of looking "cool"?

Nah. Perhaps when I was 18 and didnt know any better, but not these days.

an alternative, now that i think about it would be to use a different color. i remember at one of our meets a member had his lights tinted light blue which looked good and didn't affect output at all
