Will these brakes fit? (Jag brakes)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have a chance to get these brakes off of a 2003 XJR, and I was just wondering if anyone knows if they will fit. I know the stype/xtype brakes fit, just didnt know about these. Thanks.

anyone?

Posted by: owlman

I doubt it. IIRC one guy tried putting S-type R brakes on and they didn't fit.

hmmm really.... anyone else?

Posted by: HyeLifeLS

Nope, 02V8sport tried putting the S-type R brakes on and they are different. Do a search, you will find the thread.

Thanks.

the 2003 XJR has a different sized rotor - and you cannot swap rotors are the bolt pattern is different. The caliper mounting points are different as well - so you will be looking at a complete custom job - matching new rotors to those calipers and building new mounting brackets.

soo... basically not worth it.. lol. Thanks. Hey Quick, Ive seen wilwood calipers go for VERY cheap on ebay. Would that be a possibility to find one that fits the stock rotor and just make a bracket to fit the caliper?
