oh man i love those tailights

Posted by: Bim Turch

very simple process for tail light... some people like the sticky crap.. I sprayed it on...very light shade.... BTW everyone let me know what you think of the exhaust tips... i think they are too big...thinking about going with some oval..or just the round 3" magnaflow...

Posted by: camthman

honestly, it looks like somthing I would see on a 94 honda civic.

Posted by: Bim Turch

haha thanks... what do you think... oval.. or round 3"?... or something else..

Posted by: camthman

There are alot of threads that discuss tips, just search.

Posted by: Bim Turch

I have read plenty... just wondering your opinion... I like your ride..

Posted by: camthman

Just simple for me....

I love the car, but you gotta go with something smaller. The look like the tips on my friends track 240SX. Even though it just has a 4" tip and a bunch of other that he's gonna get mad at me for not explaining right.

Got any pictures of the 3" Magnaflow? I just think you gotta go smaller than what you got. Like the car above me.

Looks nice, but is that how all the tailights look on those generation LSs. I never realized but they do not match up evenly.

What do you mean?

Posted by: AndrewCoja

It looks like your trunk lights are lower than your tail lights.

Posted by: NYC LS8

First off, those tips aren't even. Looks like the pass side sticks out further. Secondly, the tips don't do anything for the car. Grapefruit shooters belong on imports.

Posted by: Bim Turch

to be honest.. I wasn't happy with the look when I first saw them in person.. I guess I just wanted to be original knowing noone else has them... but its not the right look for a luxury car..BTW funny grapefruit comment... it literally would fit nicely I think haha

Posted by: rickztahone

you can fix alignment of the trunk by just unscrewing the bolts and moving it and make it flush

Posted by: King03LS8

The tips are too big and stick out a little too far.

Your tails are awesome, they look really good.

Posted by: Bim Turch

I only payed 400$ for the exhaust setup (McHenry Muffler) including those " grapefruit shooters"(GS).. I think I got a very good price considering 1 GS is over 100$ on LSK.. guess Ill just find someone on ebay to buy them...unless anyone else on here wants to buy them for the sole purpose of laughing at them..

All I mean is that it looks like the tail lights are not alligned properly.

honestly the best tips on the ls are the ones on the first gens tucked behind the rear bumper

Others were showing the lip that everyone seems to go gaga over that looks like a little piece of trim along the edge of the trunk lid. Frankly it's so small it's hardly enough of a mod to even change the profile of the car. Yours looks more like a spoiler should, I like it. You did order that LSE bumper too right?

BTW Bim Turch, I fail to see anything wrong with your car, rims nice, McLaren grill nice, color nice......I see you are considering smaller exhaust already, I'd follow that train of thought through to it's conclusion...it would help keep the car tastefully personalized.
