Dash Trim Reomoval

Can anyone give me any tips or info on how to remove the dash trip inroder to remove the radio on an 89 LSC? The radio is acting buggy nad I want to try to take it out and see if it is something I could possibly fix.

Pry the trim off gently.

Where do i start, is the inner black trim separate from the outer gray trim?

If you want at the radio in a pre-90, you just pull the big piece of trim off that is around it.
