I've got 5 sets of IRS axle mid shafts. Anyone need a set, let me know. Selling them for $10/pair. They all came from Mark VIIIs and V8 T-Birds.

Are you talking about axle shafts? If so, I may be in for a set if they're in good shape.

It's the part between the CVs. If you need the axles assembly (complete from inner CV to outer CV) I can get them from the local Pick-N-Pull. All 5 sets that I've taken apart were in great condition. There was just one instance that when I did pull an axle off that it was bad. The odd thing about it, was it was an aftermarket (refurb) axle and the CV boot was really breaking down from the grease inside. They weight about 50# a pair. so if you want a set shipped I can. I typically sell the axles for $100 a pair. I only collect Lincoln Mark VIII axles and 93-97 V8 disc brake T-Bird axles.
My original post was for the half shaft that goes between the CVs. The guys running IRS on ther FFR Cobra and Coupe Kit cars, me being one of them, use just the CVs and remove and replace with a kit supplied half shaft. I figured before I throw them into the recycle bin, I should ask anyone here if they want them. $5.00 and what it cost to ship is all I ask for the pair, If no one wants them, then it's no biggy. I have a few items at my house that need to be taken to the recycler.
I'll have photos up tomorrow to clarify what I have.
