If I rememeber correctly it was BBK headers with no cats and I forget the mufflers. IMHO I think it sounds like a farm truck.

They are vintage Dunlop Racing 550-16 tires mounted on a pair of rare 16" dia. x 4" wide 'spare tire' aluminum rims. The wheel/tube/tire combo weighs in at 29 pounds.

I want to get them bead blasted and polished.

Mikes' Mark VIII won that race,IIRC Mike run 11.8 @ 118 mph with 1.6 60' and Supra run 12.0 or 12.1 @ 135 mph with 2.2 60'.They didn't show the times but there is a light right above the time boards that goes off for the car which crosses the 1/4 mile marker first. You can see in the video light went off on the left line right above the letter O on Precision banner .The guy was so pissed after loosing to Mikes mark VIII that put his Supra in the trailer right after the race and left home.

It looked like the guy was playing with him off the line tho. Like he thought he would dominate, then realized it was fast and tried to catch up.

Either that or some serious turbo lag from too big of a turbo. Most of the Supras that I have seen run a single huge turbo & need a shot of spray to get it out of the hole. Those Supras are MONSTERS! This video was from 05, I'm sure he is in the 7's or very low 8's by now. At the time this was the worlds fastest street legal supra! Might still be???

Whoever owns a mark viii knows they can burnout pretty good, and with a few mods they can burn out even better.. sometimes I feel bad when i beat on my car and do stuff with it but I can't help it need to have fun with it and feel the power of these things.. Keep Burning out.. just sucks buying tires hahaha

Street legal with 3-speed TH400 and probably around 5K stall, good luck with that set up on the street. It's funny how most of the people think it takes couple grand to run single digits in a supra.Have you ever seen how much money most of these single digit supras have invested.I've seen few of them for sale so far and it was stated $100K-150K invested .I think WOTM [spelling]had their single digit 6-speed supra for sale on ebay last year and it said around 150K invested .I don't build supras I just said what I saw lately.

He claims it is street legal??? I here what your saying though. This same guy had a 1985 toyota truck back in the day, like 15 years ago or so. He built his own complete turbo set up for that 22r engine & he had the worlds fastest toyota truck at the time. I remember the radio station advertising it. I used to hang out with him back then but haven't seen him for years. This guy knows his stuff & can make a toyota really fast on a budget. The Supra's are a bit more pricey I'm sure. Much more than a few grand. I know this.

Now, Your brothers Mark VIII is freakin Awesome!!! I'm not trying to say otherwise. I would like to see it break into the 10's!!! I'm not a Toyota guy, it's all about FORDS to me! I have seen 2.3 liter 4bangers run in the 9's. Not anywhere near stock of course. Kinda neat that a 4 banger ford can keep up with a supra though.

guess i gotta show my 500 dollar MarkVIII burnout..

These videos below taken by someone else its from the rear of the car..

Wow, my old car car is in the LVC compilation video. I'm flattered. Here's one made yesterday, same wheels, different car. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oID=32750 726

Posted by: RedHotMark96

I have 4 cheap tires just lying around on the stock wheels. I really want to throw them on and just go roast 'em, but I cant find anywhere to do it where Im not likely to be busted. I live in a suburb where there are too many cops and too little crime, and go to college in Ann Arbor, which is even worse!

Do Autocross events have burnout areas??
I know theres the burnout box at the strip, but I really want to roast these buggers!

Taken Saturday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBLvU_jYtAA My car stinks now.

My Plymouth was a pump gas 10 second street car with a 5500 stall 8.5 inch converter with a 3 speed 727 TF trans, no problems at all, daily driven for over 2 years.
