Driveshaft noise

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

2001 TC Exec "L" series in limo service, with 485,000+ miles. Thee is a noise like a stone or something coming from inside the driveshaft, and whatever it is, it moves. Sometimes the noise is in the middle of the shaft, sometimes at the pumpkin end. Shaft is sealed at both ends, has no grease fittings or anything else to come loose and fall inside. Could a balancing weight inside the tube have come loose, or is there a way for moisture to get inside and cause rust that may have come loose?

Anyway, I would like to get good used driveshaft for this car. REMEMBER, this is a "L" series, so the car DOES NOT take a shaft for the short wheelbase version. Anybody got one, or can get one?
