What color is your lincoln?

I'm just curious, cuz i see lots and lots of silver, some black, a few red... but so far i haven't seen any other dark green, that's the color of my LS.. so i was just wondering about everyones LS color - maybe i'm special

and not in the shoort bus way everyone keeps saying...

come to think of it... i've got a weird faded spot over my passenger headlight... its almost like the paint faded completely off under the clearcoat.. its kinda weird.. hm.

its a 2000 and i love the color.. in the sun its gorgeous but at night its still a stalker. if i see the sun again i'll snap some photos - love upstate NY winters.
right now its a color i call "custom salt matte gray/tan splatter"

I may have the same color you do. I think I've only seen one other the same color. Kind of an indescribable dark green.

Mine's a dark metallic blue. Don't think I've seen another with the same color. Crappy pic from my cell phone. The metallic blue really shines in the sunlight. Gorgeous color IMO.

Black, I find some of the unique colors of the 2nd gens appealing, but could never drive anything but black. The vivid red and pearl white are sharp on the LS, just not my style.

that blue is nice. i wanted a black, but green is my favorite color and the price/mileage was very right so.. and as i said, i bet the blue is the same way it looks black anytime after 5

Exterior: Light Parchment Gold with Clearcoat Metallic
Interior: Medium Parchment Leather

Its always seems to be a different color, usually between tan/gold and silver, depending on the ground and lighting.

Edit: I want to see a picture of this dark Dark Green Satin Clearcoat Metallic.

Was this an 03+ color option? I've got an '01, and I believe the color is aqua blue, but looks very similar to your color. I believe the member Hyelife has the same color LS as myself, and he calls it aqua blue....

I almost bought a midnight blue one about a year before I bought a silver one...it was a 2000 with 61k for 8999 from a dealer as you can guess it sold before I actually went over to drive it. beautiful color....i kinda just got the silver one by default but i love it regardless

That color would be Dupont Super Jet Black G9900S

It is the purest black you can buy. We didn't paint the windshield washer srayers until last and they looked gray against the car after we painted it.

I believe the Ford and Mercury lines called that color Redfire; Lincoln called it Vivid Red. Regardless, its the same color.

I love the color on my car, its very rare and I hardly ever see it. I honestly think it is one of the best colors.

I find it interesting that according to this site, in 03, the black V6 had a different shade of black interior than the V8, does anyone know if that's true?

White Pearlescent, when it's clean. We live in the flood zone of Washington State so it doesn't stay clean very long :-(

Those dark mettalic blues are all over the place by my. I have seen this one green color I have never seen befroe though. The interior is the same color and this old lady drives it around. I want that car, mine is silver frost.Attachment 37898

thanks jwerner I think the silver wheels with only chrome lips really compliment the blue, imo one huge advantage of thesilver frost is that you can find wheels that almost match perfect

Your welcome babbster, I agree its very easy to match a set of wheels and keep it clean cut. But almost all my cars have been silver except for the Highlander, that thing used to be black till all the mud got stuck on it.

Owlman, I have to say for me all colors mentioned with the black interior is the sh*t along with wood grain on factory levels not overdoing it with a whole aftermarket kit, just whats expected and whats optional like the steering wheel and shifter.

The top two pictures and my sig were taken at the sametime. I plan to redo my sig and use the top picture. The Autumn Red has a pearl in it. So the bodylines really jump out at you on a sunny day. On an overcast day, the car looks to be a root beer color. I have been at car shows where I have over heard people say "lets look at the root beer Lincoln".

Even had a friend who has seen my LS hundreds of times ask "thought your LS is maroon, because it looks root beer to me".

I guess their are only two of us here with this color, Light Tundra Green Metalic, it looks like silver, charcoal or blue at night or in the shadows. I have only seen two like mine on the road.

I think mine is the same green. It is a 2001 LS V6 with Sport Pack. Per the original window sticker the color is called Charcoal Green. My interior is medium parchment (Tan).

He used PS Springs. Fully adjustable to lower as far as you want.
