I have a 95 MARK8,,just got it 'CHERRY" 41,OOO,,LIKE SHOWROOM NEVER IN RAIN,ETC ETC, OLDER MAN DIED,HAD SEVERAL CARS,,ANYWAY The radio worked fine,,2 months,,today I can't turn it off,,I re-push the volume switch like manual sez,,still on. Of couse it's off with key off door open. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??

You are doing nothing wrong. There is a catch on the back side of the button that is not catching. My Gen II does the same thing. It can get pretty annoying. However, when I have the volume turned to certain levels, the catch works and the radio turns off. Interestingly enough, should I hit a bump, or the radio "feels" like it, it will turn itself back on. Startles the crap outa me. lol...
