I have a 1986 Towncar. Occasionally it will buck like the tranny was having trouble shifting, or fuel was cut out, or electrical was cut out. I have to let off the gas, then reapply gas. Sometimes it happens a couple times in a row. I had the tranny serviced, they said everything is fine. Had the engine serviced at my local shop, they replaced the plugs. They said they basically did a tuneup. It still does it, has 140,000 miles. Any suggestions? Thank You all.

check timing, do a wigel test on all the conections helps on older fords alot of the time. My CV would buck when the timing gear was getting old, my Thunderbird would buck when the cam lobe for cyl's 3 and 6 where almost round
