Recently I ordered a new remote for my black 1994 Mark VIII from Max at 5 Star Ford. His discounted price was well below the local Lincoln dealer. Who incidentally wanted $21.50 to program it; but I read in previous threads how easy it was and did it myself. A week ago I ordered new headlights from Max at an incredible discount. He is a great guy to talk to. Tomorrow a buddy that does detailing and HID installs is putting in my new lights with an HID kit. I can't wait. Likewise, I'd like to thank Gino at LMS for his helpful responses to my questions. As the budget allows I will be driving to N.J. for some LMS parts/installs. Also, Jamie down in Florida has been very helpful too. While I have been reading this website for a longtime, I'm just now beginning to post on it. I am constantly amazed at the amount of knowledge and problem solving capabilities you all have on these Lincolns. Anyway, I'm proud to be a member.

Lots of great people on these mk8 websites. And i too read alot more then post,that happenes when you start learning about a new vehicle imo.

Gary it was a pleasure talking with you on the phone, and to be told that you think of me as a hero, was pretty cool. i have tried to do alot for owners of these cars and put up as much info as i can when i tackle the many different jobs i do to these cars. not many people would call me their hero, so that means alot!! i'm just another guy who happens to be into these cars. thanks again. and welcome to the world of forum posting!!!!
