My tack is stuck on 1k. How easy is it to fix that? I have an aftermarket one with shift light but...its stuck on 6k. Im more concerned with the one in my dash tho.

Oh yeah, its a 96.

Posted by: cfischr

i have a '95, it does the same thing. tach won't even move unless i'm really on the gas. then it goes back and doesn't move again.

Posted by: cfischr

so does anyone know how to fix that? why the tach won't move while idleing or under normal driving conditions, it only moves when i get the rpm's way up.

Yay! I fixed it! took like 20 min. The face just pushed agains the needle so i peeled it off and reglued. Simple.

Its almost as easy as doing a search.

Don't want to sound like a jerk but people get tired of the same questions so they dont respond.
Next time try a search first, then ask.
