2003 navigator advancetrac problem

i was driving my navigator and for no reason at all the advancetrac light came on. i pulled over shut the vehicle on and started it back up, the advancetrac light shut off and then i began to drive and again the light for the advancetrac came on. anyone know what would cause this or how to fix this problem???? 2003 lincoln navigator 4x4. thanks in advance! help.....
