Hi to all. I have read this forum about year now and decided to join you. I'm form Estonia, Baltic states near Finland. I own a red mark viii 97 LSC stock. I bought from Geno x pipe and mufflers in december. I hope to get them soon from my friends container witch brings to him 2004 lightning.
I am also quite big Ford fan and espesially Americas Ford. If you have any questions don't hesitate. We have also a little American cars community/forum if I can say www.tqhq.ee torque headquaters

Greets,
Zeed

Welcome aboard, congrats on your 97 mark. Will you be attending any of our meets .I will understand if you dont make it that is a fly and a drive and i think you might have to ship your mark to the states and the cost would be crazy.enjoy

Nice foorum. I looked around a little. Good to see that the autosports are alive and well in your little country. Must be hard to obtain US auto parts though.

Posted by: zeed

Well, we got here couple of dedicated stores and also in small country you know people who know people who are in states buying/shipping cars/parts here, it takes more time but its littlebit cheaper. And also if anybody from you guys will be kind enough to ship me some parts in future, for which I pay for of course, it will be nice
But certainly I miss a good shop where you can go and buy parts and get them bolted on at the same day

There is a guy I know in Moscow who has a Mark VIII and a few friend of his who also have Mark VIIIs. He knows of a few on-line stores who carry parts.

He tried to get a front clip from me last summer but shipping cost were way too much.

I can forward you his e-mail address if you like. Send me a PM and maybe he can help you with acquiring parts.

if I say honestly from Russia is a way more difficult to get parts than from US. And so far I got little parts from Rockauto and Fordparts and our local store, who has things like brake pads, joints on his warehouse but if anything not usual then it will take 2 weeks to month to deliver. But here isnt very much of know how about markviii (mine is one of firsts 2 gen).
So far I have done J-mod and door blend and couple of more thing by my self. I read so far markviii.org from there my knowledge.
But what I ment by that you can sent me parts is that we have to pay customs fee about ca 30% to parts we order from US. But when friend sends then it cost only shipping here is mine beauty This is the site where everyone can put their US car
