Hello everyone. Thought id join a Lincoln forum, this one looked to be most active. Im memebers of many mustang boards if anyone gets on those. Modularfords and SVTP are the main/big ones. I browse corral but have never signed up.
Anyways, my family is nothing for Ford people. Here is a list of all the Lincolns we have/had.
Past cars.
- Two White 1980 Mark 6's -dads
-1996 Mark 8 (I think this car had the j mod and gears beacuse it moved out and shifted like no other for being stock) -dads
-01 Conn. -moms This car was fun, could peel out pretty good just smashing it from a light, was fun to mess with hondas and what not!
Current
-1994 Towncar, my current DD, 97k, runs like a champ, 2V power!
-1997 mark 8 - dads work car
-1990 mark 7 - in storage
There ya have it, all motors possible, 5.0, 2v and 4v mod motors. Have had absolutly no issues with the cars, just some minor ones really. The current mark 8 got a leak in one of the air system lines and caused the front to drop while in storage and my towncar has a problem with the abs, i really need to get on that and find out whats wrong.
I wish more people cared about Lincolns, almost everyone i see in town is either riding with the front, rear or whole car on the ground because people just dont care and if the air system has a issue they just leave it. I guess theres a couple people that think its cool to cut the bags too.....
