Memory Profile System Problem

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: MKE

I have a 1997 Continental with the Memory Profile System. The "off" light is on all the time. When I turn this light off, it cancels all radio station presets. It does not change the position of the seat.

Does anyone have an idea of where the problem is?

If it were me I'd run it over to a lincoln dealership, if its important to you.

and mike I just thought. did you check your remote to make sure that its in the "on"" position?

Is your power seat working fine? If it is then just set your setting on it.
Continentals stores your seats setting, mirror settings, car setting(plush or firm, Auto locks, etc) and the radio presets.

1. Press 1 or 2 on the memory profile depending on which one you want to the settings to.

2. Set your car setting and your radio presets

3. set your power seat and your mirrors and a message should appear something like driver saved.

make sure you click off if another driver is going to use your car
