air ride problem on 90 towncar

just got a 90 towncar with 32k original miles. it sags badly in rear. shouldnt i hear compressor when running ?. not that familiar with system. what is smallest most common problem ?. fuse, relay, etc ?. thanks for any help. skip.

Could be your height sensor (looks like a tiny shock)

has lept off the ball stud on the axle or chasis bracket;

For a while I had mine tie wrapped like this;

Now mine looks like this;

and she ain't jumped off since (grin).
