So the only thing keeping me from getting any lower in the front, are the Cats, is there a good solution to remove the Cats from the manifolds?

I have a 94 and the cats are welded to the manifolds, I dont mind finding a manifold if such exsists with out the cats and O2 deletes,

digging the cats into earth lets me know thats the last issue to lay pinch all around.

I dont know of any manifolds thaat will fit a Mark that dont have cats unless you want to go to headers. Lot of $$ for little increase on a stock car. Have you given any thought to gutting the cats and then heating them enough to bend them upwards a bit?

you can cut them off and weld in pipe or aftermarket cats and the cat should only be welded to one side driver side I think. Passanger side should unbolt from the manifold

Passenger side will unbolt just above the Cat...

I wouldnt forking out the $$ for the headers providing the collectors do not hang down any lower then the floor pan.

Its very tricky to weld on cast.

I wonder if 03+ Cobra manifolds fit our cars, they are the only ones Ive seen without cats.

Ive even toyed with the idea of cutting and removing the very corner of the cats, If you look under your mark its about 1"-1.5" in the corner that I might have to cut and weld flush.
