I have searched for an answer, but alass, I came up short. I just bought a 1992 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and as preventive matinence I wanted to add some bars leak to the radiator. I went to the store and all they had was the bars leak heavy duty in the bottle, not the tablets. So I bought it and added half the bottle to my radiator. Then I noticed that a lot of pellets were at the bottom of the bottle, but I was afraid that they would clog my radiator and heater core, so I stopped at just half of the bottle. Was I right in this endevaor, or should I get the system re-flushed and filled with the tablets?

No...The pellets will break-up and will not clog your radiator. But it's possible that they can clog an expansion tank which is why it's recommended that tablets and Bar's Leaks liquid with pellets are poured into the radiator hose where they will break-up and circulate through the cooling system.

Just to let you know with the bar leak liquid you can use 2 bottles of 5.5 oz for 8 cyl motors...use it up to twice a year...
