I'm looking to get my grille matched and the last quote I got was $175....I know I can do better. Anyone got a place?

Earl Scheib. He'll paint any car for only $29.95. At least that's what his ad said back in the '60s.

If you can get a quality paint job on you grille for less than that here in So.Cal., let me know.
If that $175 price includes sanding & prepping the grille, mixing & color matching the paint, spraying two coats of paint, wet sanding, spraying two coats of clear and wet sanding again...... then that a pretty good deal.
Remember it's not necessarily the size of the job or amount of paint used.... It's all the prep and production work labor that goes into doing a quality paint job. $175 here in So. Cal. is only 2 hours of labor and that's not counting the cost of paint.
Sure you can find someplace that will do it cheaper..... but do you really want it to look cheap? Most times, you get what you pay for.
