As you guys know, we have been having horrible ice storms.

Here is my car now.

What I need is a replacement, that drives, that isn't that far from central Illinois! Since i have the cash in hand from teh total.

Depressed. Just got some more stuff done on the thing, now it's a pile of smashed in parts.

oh yeah, rather have a 92 lsc, but a mark viii would also be possible.

I'm burning cell phone minutes like a madman. It got the top, windshield, back glass, b-pillar, trunk lid, and that was enough.

Are you going to be able to part any of it out? Or is the insurance company going to take it?

they are giving me 2500 if i keep the car. More of course if they take it. If i can find another 92 lsc I will keep it. if i find a mark 8 i'll probably let it go.

Bummer about your car. That dollar amount from the insurance company seems fair for a car that you get to keep. I went to Kelly Blue Book and they say $3,000 in excellent condition street price for a '92 LSC w/ 150k miles.
I know this cat in So-Cal want out from under his Mark VII it's a 1991. It should be a rust free car too. And just think, a nice trip to sunny warm California! he is having starting issues with it, but doesn't feel it is worth throwing more $$$ into it. IMO I also think he can't fix it himself either from his other posts .

Ouch that had of hurt,sorry for your lost and you should have no problem finding another mark with the money you got from the insurance company,maybe you can buy a mark vii and a mark viii and enjoy the best of both worlds,take your time and these baby's will find you

yeah i'm not in a hurry. really wanting to replace my white 7 with a black 7, have to see what i can find.

i already miss the car, so i'm having issues with impulse buy...lol
