WOW,I just saw an HID bulb go for 305.00 on ebay, I should sell the two sets I Have. Is there a better aftermarket kit out there or should I just keep mine?

SO you are selling HID's, to buy aftermarket HID's? Something seems wrong to me. I have though seen some "angel eyes" go cheaper than that, do not know anything about the quality of them though....?

A seller on ebay has conversion kits for 96-98 mk8's. They go for $300-350. I looked at both our conv. kits and ones from other cars w/o hids and the bulb ballasts look/read identical. He said his kit was of a much better quality.Looks like he bought the regular $70 hid kit and made a adapter plate with a harness connecter and charged an extra 200 bucks...

I've thought about fabricating my own HID kit and selling my stock ones because I'm sure you could turn a profit doing something like that.

One set on ebay a guy went to the new ford alternative and by the time he was done selling the housings he had almost broke even and ford charges like $700 I think.

And thats what he did....

It's just a thought, I'm poor and looking for profit in my never ending junk pile.
