2000 removable lower grill piece

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have a 2000 LS and sometime while I was driving yesterday the lower grill piece that you can remove came out and I cannot find it. Where can I get one of these or order one?

sorry to say - this will not be an easy thing to find. Most LSes did not have this - only the early sport version (since the was the model going to Europe).

Several people have asked the question - to my knowledge, no one has found one.

Dealer?

quick what is the purpose of this piece on the bumper as mine has it.

it pulls out to attach a front tow hook - like most euros.

Should come in handy when I get stuck in the snow

I wish they'd included this on all LSes. Back when I had the starting problems in my '04, they sent a flatbed out to haul her into the Lincoln dealership, and it was aggravating to see the cable rubbing on the rear valance as he dragged it onto the truck. I'd hate to see what it would do to an LSE valance...
