I recently picked up an '02 v8. I guess I should say that I recently bought it. The dealer got to keep it for the first three weeks so they could replace some parts for me. I still love this.....a new gasket between the oil fiter mount and the block, a new oil pan gasket, new valve cover gaskets, 8 new coil packs, new plugs. Oh yeah, and an oil change. The dealership did all of that with no out of pocket cost to me.
This is my second ls v8. I hated myself for three years for trading the first. I have kind of fixed that. I still miss the first one, but man I love these cars, so number two can help me get my fix.

BTW nice to meet everyone. So far all the rides I have seen have been spot on.

I got it for about 12K .....I would have had to get rid of my Spyder for the '05 that was in town. I like the later models but not enough to give up the Spyder.

I thought the coil packs would be something I ended up paying for, but the dealership was great. They had a 30 day warranty on the car and when I took it in, they never even blinked at doing the work. The service manager took the time to find out that the coil packs often will fail more than one at a time. So, he took it on him self to replace all of them so I wouldn't have to come back or pay for the rest out of pocket.

I will post some pics as soon as the weather clears up. It has been crappy the last few days.
