So i get in my Mark and turn the key on,sounds like an ordinary thing to do right? well the car is sittin low and the air ride switch is on...sounds normal to me. I start the car, runds great, but the car is not lifting...strange,everything is on and right, *glances at message center* What in the world?!! Drivers door ajar! How is this true? My door is shut, but for some reason it wont read closed, thus not letting the car lift. I need help, Its 9:09 and i have alot to do before 9:30 tomorrow morning. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I have the car in our shop and I'm going to be up late. So any help would be appreciated...Btw I've been out there workin on it since 5:00!

Spray generous ammounts of WD-40 in the door latching mechanism and go through several door open/close cycles.

Lots of threads on this problem.

FYI, the car will still raise with that error. It wont vent with the door open, but thats a different sensor since I have had the door ajar error and it still vented.

But if WD40 no work, I can help you locate and clean the sensor.
