Go to start my car then put the auto climate on about 74 degrees, but then the unit comes on and blows cold air instead of waiting for the temp to get up and then come on like it should. Any ideas??

Sounds like the dreaded blend door actuator failure.

Stick your hand up and behind the passenger side glove box along the left crack in the door. About 6 inches behind the front of the golve box and up about 6 inches is a lever that you can push by hand to the right to get heat.

Do a search. Somebody has pictures of where to stick the 'ol hand up under there.

You can twist yourself upside down with a flashlight and locate it and then go to town with your hand.
