3-2bbl setup on a '59

I am putting together a bit of a basket case and need information on what the finished product should be like. The car is a '59 Caddy and has a 3 2barrel setup and i'm trying to figure out how the transmission kickdown should work. I'm not certain if this is an original setup or not. Thanks for any advice.
