86 LSC- Message center is dead

i got im my car and the electronic message center is completly dead the buttins still light up at night but the screen is blank
anyone have any ideas

Remove and replace it with a known good unit and then test this unit in another Mark VII.

oldschool1 is correct I just had the same problem i opened up the message center and found the voltage reg fried to a crisp! as oldschool1 has advise me check to make sure your voltage regulator has the proper output and then try another message center.
