Hey everbody, My "93" Eldorado is acting funny. If I stomp on the gas, It will run through the gears no problem. However, If I just push real easy, It shifts from first to second then it slips. If I then stomp on it it picks up and goes! I had it flushed and still the same thing. I checked for PCM codes and found none. I'd rather not buy a new tranny if I don't have to. Although I've replaced just about everything else so I almost have to. My wife wants me to get rid of it, but it's become a quest now! I must win! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for trouble codes by depressing at the same time both the 'OFF' and 'WARMER' buttons on the Climate Control Panel. Hold them for about 4 seconds then release. Write down the codes, such as P039, etc., and let us know what they are. I suspect you have a torque converter engagement problem which is code P039.
