LvC Christmas Party Info....

2007 LvC Christmas Party
The Weekend of
December 8th - 9th
Elmhurst and Lombard, Illinois Area

8:00 AM Saturday Morning Breakfast and Gathering

Kopper's Kitchen Map

Members are welcome to come and enjoy the
Midwest Chapter's most popular hang out for Breakfast LOL..
We'll be scarffing and downing a few pots of coffee while
sharing many LvC moments.

12:00 PM Saturday Activity
at around 12:00 PM we'll head to
Volo Auto Museum
to enjoy some Classic American Muscle
European Exotic
and other interesting cars.

Christmas Party Dinner will be held
Once again at

The Actual Christmas Party will be on Saturday night at 7:00 PM at
John's Pizzarria in Addision, IL - MAP
(Dinner Buffet $9.95 per person does not include drinks)
with
After Dinner activities to follow Next Door
(Unless Joey gets his Party Room finished
in time for the Party!!! Then it's party time Joey Style)

Sunday will breakfast will once again be at
Kopper's Kitchen where we will
lick our wounds and say our good byes
Time to Be announced LOL

Members are weclome to attend as much
of this meet as they wish

For those who may be coming on Friday from a further distances and would like some Friday night fun ... Follow the discusson in this Thread more info to follow in the coming days before the meet.

watch it joey...............lol you can see how much candy will fit in a mark

and it will be cold so it wont be like when we show up to boscobel with "liquid" candy bars

i'm a fairly new lincoln owner, and have only been on here for a few months. i've been looking at the pictures of the meets you guys have had and they look like a lot of fun. i see most people on here have mark viii's. but i was wondering, is the christmas shin-dig for all lincoln owners, or just mark viii owners. i have a lincoln ls. i realize i may be with the in crowd, but its still a lincoln

. just wondering if i was allowed to join or not. lol. it sounds like a good time and if everything works out with school and work, i may have to venture down there, if you guys dont mind an ls being there. thanks guys, bryan

The Christmas party is for all Lincoln owners any and all are welcome, i won't be there but one or two LS owners might be there also. The meets are alot of fun.

This is for all members Lincolns or Cadillacs... or whatever you have it's for all members...

Problem is it seem like mostly the Mark VIII members get together... I'd like that to change. I'd like to see a better mix. I guess us its that Us Mark VIII guys like to have more fun..

So come on and have some fun with us Mark VIII member don't exclude anyone... We even let guys with Gen II Mark VIIIs come. (They need to feel better)

sweet! thats the weekend before final exams, so i'll have to see how much studying ill have to do and what not. but, ill probably show up because exams are overrated right? haha. anyways, another question. would i get laughed at, harrassed, molested, beaten, branded, or anything else if i drove my pontiac grand prix? it gets better gas mileage, and if the weather gets rough, my lincoln may be in storage.

I would really like to come and enjoy the festivities of the beach party, but that is about the time I will graduate and a bunch of my friends want to go on a trip. So if the trip falls through or is on another date then I will gladly come.

Uh-Oh... it's the Chicken's fault...

Cassie has a track meet on the 8th of Dec. So I may be late getting to the VOLO part of the meet.

I don't know what events she'll be running as I'm no longer her coach.. she on to bigger and better at College.

This is an alumni meet and my oldest Daughter (All-American) will be running also. Coach is planning on putting them against each other in the 200 m. Could be scary if youngest doesn't win... You'll hear it in the Chi. area.

But if I miss the meet I'd be in the dog house for a long while... or at least until after Christmas...

The 200 m race is scheduled for 2:00 PM... and is one of the last events. I will be leaving as soon as the race is over. I figure I'll be in the Chi area by about 6:00 PM... Sorry about any hastles this may cause... I will need some help and support getting people to VOLO.... Krys... Are you up to it?

Joey.... need you or someone at Koppers by 8:00 AM.... I'll see who might be able to help out also...

We leave for VOLO by 12:00...

Well that's what maps are for LOL...

Kopper's is easy.... even Debi gets there without getting lost... (or at least I think so)..

VOLO you'll need to Map Quest... But Conti is going and will be at Kopper's early. I road with him to VOLO last year so maybe his Gum Shoe lessons will help him get you all there.

I will be at Koppers around 7am on the 8th drinking coffee and waiting for members,For the ride to Volo we will take 83 north to 290 west to 355/53 north to lake cook rd then make a right on to route 12 and run that north to Volo,can't miss this place because they have hugh billboards posted on route 12,if anyone has a better ideas then post them here,Thanks and hope we have alot of people show up even if you have to drive a Geo Metro

My car loves the cold air but not the snow,the thing has been running great and scaring me half to death with rear tire spin on dry pavement and people have been looking at me when i hit second gear and the rear of my car is in there lane

hey, me and markofdeath, u know the short guy with the white lincoln and 3500k stall are coming up from joliet. we came to a hooters meet a long while ago where we all did burnouts in the back parking lot. i didnt have a mark yet though, ive had my mark for bout 8 months been a member for mabey 7,8 months, i have a black on black 93 w/all black snowflakes, lowerd w/sidepipes, and sct chip.....looks like papa bears snow picture. but me and brad, im ross, will be cruzin up there saturday morning and will be there at 8am sharp, hope to see you guys soon. where still going this saturday right?? the 8th

Having the exhaust dump out before the rear tires is cool like a Dodge Challenger or behind the front tires like a drag car but the old side pipes from the 70's would not look to good unless they are the ones hidden behind the ground effects like on a Cobra stang and i saw the weather last night and they said it might snow late saturday and sunday.I will wait until thursday/friday for a better forcast

Snow may deturmine which Mark I bring. If there is snow I might have to bring the 95 as the 94 has problems if the snow gets deep..

Dang lowered car rides on the snow and it just doesn't work as well.

Would love to come, but chi-towns a bit of a drive. I found out yesterday (1st snow) that these cars aren't exactly ski-doos. Hope you big city boys can throw something together in the summer time. Keep us posted.

I will be making maps as shown on this thread for the drive to volo so in case of any of you race car drivers decide to do a buck fifty to volo and get lost you will have a map copy or for you slow drivers like myself that have a cup of coffee in one hand and a cig or cigar in the other and are steering with you knee doing 40 in a 60 will have a map too

Yes still sick. I'm lucky I went back to the hotel, would have been a ugly night had I not. Thought I was a little better this morning but on the ride home it knida came back some. Hope its over now.

Looks like my wife had fun. LOL.

Party was great again... missed Micheal and her great voice but we had Trevor.. and that other guy singing.. I think it was Neil (Conti)Young.

Once again there must be something about the Mark VIII crowd... why are they the only ones who like to get together and have fun... LS owners you too embarassed to show!! We know those TC and Conti guys are too old LOL...

Oh and Jason doesn't count as an LS owner as he also has a Mark VIII so the party fever is in his blood.. Or at least his wife's blood.. Hope you are feeling better good friend... Save up for the GLD meet in spring..
