Looking at 95 black/black LSC

I'm looking at a 95 Black/Black LSC, the interior is mint, the exterior is missing the whole driver side door handle assembly, and also missing the passenger side corner light housing. The engine seems to be in excellent shape at 127k, the tranny fluid needs to be changed. It drove OK, the ABS light was on... I have never had this happen in a Mark VIII, what does it mean? The brakes were fine and the car has all new tires all around. The front air ride worked perfectly bu the car felt harsh in the front end going over bumps, ball joints or inner tie rods? The car is priced very low but i'm concerned mainly about the ABS light and the front suspension being harsh over bumps... any input?

I would think that the front end was ball joints or the upper a frame (might be called a ball joint idk all I know is I changed one on my mark and three on the cougar I had) Does it make a lot of noise over bumps? As far as the ABS it could be something like the wheel speed sensor. You would have to have the codes pulled. Its just when the light is on the ABS wont work.

abs sensor/wheel speed sensor wire is cut or contacts are corroded the tip is always filled with metal shaving just tap into the abs pcm plug in the front of the core support might be missing a ring to. check the tire pressure to for the harsh ride to,miles are a little high for me. sounds like the owner did not care about it

Don't worry about the miles ... I'd redo the front end. Upper and Lower Control Arms. Easy jobs. ABS sensors are not to hard either. You can get them through Max and 5 Star. Or I have one senosr left from the passenger's side of the 94 I parted out.

I've got 155+K on two of my Marks and 218+k on another .... miles are nothing...

I had the abs deal last year. Did a cobra hub swap and it was fixed after.

Harsh ride up front could be the strut binding up....Mine did the same when i bought it(125k) and am doing the coil conversion this winter while its in storage....
