Electronic message center is shorting

1986 lincoln mark 7 lsc

I need help my electronic climate control is shorting out along with the message center, it shuts off when the car reaches operating temp and returns to function when the car cool off. The heater core was replaced recently

For the love of god help me.

It may be the ignition switch. If you have not replaced it recently, do so now. It's $10 to prevent the car from burning to the ground.

pull it out and check the connections.try a wiggle test on the wire looms while it is still connected or it might be time to replace it
