(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: MatthewDavid

I'm gonna be putting a new valve cover gasket on my 97 mark viii tomorrow... is there anything I should be aware of?... also there a lot of oil all over the plugs, coil and boots what should I use to clean them off... and any tips on gettin oil out of the spark plug holes?... thanks for help

Unscrew the pump form a spray bottle (windex/tilex/etc.) and put the plastic pick-up down the spark plug well.

Use it to spray the oil out.
