Modify '00-'02 Rear Bumper Question

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hey All,
I'm have seen pictures of this but I'm not sure how people did it. I want to know how people with the '00-'02 LS modified their bumpers to be able to put exhaust tips he tips angled downwards. All insight welcomed! Did you get your body shop to do it or did you do it with a jig saw and a template? I'm working on my '00 LS V8 and didn't want to have to purchase a bumper with cutouts already...

If you don't have the LSE rear lower valance that has the exhaust cutouts then you would need to trim the black lower valance to accommodate the tips. I did this on my LS when I first bought it. You can use an razor blade knife to cut the valance.
