96 Continental for sale just North of Atlanta

1996 Continental for sale. 45 minutes North of Atlanta. The rebuilt transmission (by a good company - cost us about $1700) has (as far as I can remember - but I can find the paperwork with the mileage at rebuild) less than 1000 miles on it. Everything else on the car works fine, too. The last time I drove it, it ran just fine. Engine is good (I believe there are about 150000ish miles on it). No issues that I'm aware of. The air ride bags were checked about 8 months ago and we were told they were intact and working. The front of the car is low to the ground but it's not the bags. There are some kind of "pins" that hold it up that break easily. They just need to be replaced (not very expensive according to my mechanic). Original wheels (but two of the little covers over the nuts are MIA).

Now - be warned - the car ain't pretty! It's that lovely 96 black paint that faded/came off. The inside is cream colored leather and the carpet is cream colored. I know the inside will clean up fairly nicely. No tears or issues with the leather. Oh, yea - headliner sags in the back seat. NO cracked windshield.

This would be great for someone needing an inexpensive car and wouldn't be embarrassed by the paint job or could get a cheap paint job on it. We were planning to get it painted, get the "pins" put in the front so it rides as it is supposed (even though it is drivable like it is) to and use the car every day but we were given another car and are just kinda' tired of looking at the Continental in the driveway.

Someone looking for a lot of good parts would find it very useful, too, I'm sure.
