Tires rubbing

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: NEWTLSC

I have a 98 lsc with 18x9 speedstars with used 265/40/18 tires and I am rubbing in the rear. I plan on buying new 275/40/18's later this week, but I do not want them to rub. I have heard bad stories about fender rolling. I was wondering if there was any other way to fix this. Thanks Pat.

Different tire manufacturers have different widths for the same size tire, you need to look into the actual width specs of the tire. I know BFG's tend to run wider than most. The Kumho Ecsta SPT 275/40/18 will most likely fit and provide a high level of performance year round. They are summer tires but have great all season capability.
