ok I know this has been beatin to death... but I didn't really find the answer I was looking for...

I have a 97' Mark Viii LSC... stock... I'm gonna do a plug/boot change this weekend... I"m ordering the racing boots from Max 5 star... but the plugs

I already figured out Motocraft and Autolites are pretty much the only way to go... my question is are the copper ones worth it?... I don't really want to change the plugs every year but if you get better mileage and power out of them maybe... but platinums sound nice since you hardly need to change them... it's more of messing up the threads and boots that worry me more than gettin new plugs... thanks

I personally would only go with the Motorcraft or Autolite Platimuns. Why chance messing up the threads when it comes to changing the copper plugs every year or so? You won't see any noticable gains or mileage increases anyhow. Perhaps if your engine was highly modded then it might be another story.

The NGK platinums are good too.

What part number for the Racing boots? I need a set for my 98 LSC.

Get the GMS 4v COP kit, comes with racing silicone boots and stainless steel ropes.

NGK Platinums all the way!
