A/C Compressor

Does any one have illustration on how to remove the A/C Compressor from the car and do i need any special tools?
This is for a 94 conti

wow, glad I re-read that. I almost posted instructions on the A/S compressor.

AC compressor, well now, not sure myself, having never removed one, but I would venture to guess the following steps are likely.

1. remove belt
2. remove p/s pump
3. remove any AC lines on compressor

here is where it probably gets tricky..

4. remove the bolts holding compressor to bracket. of course, at this point you may be able to remove bracket and compressor as an assy.


as far as special tools. I dont think so, unless the AC lines need something special. you may need to do some of the removal from underneath the car, it may be easier to get to from there.
