I have a 1982 sedan deville that the right turn signal won't flash. I checked all the bulbs and they are good. It will flash whe I turn on the emergency flashers. Any one have any ideas?
Thank's, Laurence

I take it that the left signal flashes? If so, then it's possible the turn signal assembly inside the steering column needs to be replaced. Have you noticed any small wisps of white smoke rising from the steering column?

You said all bulbs are good but I would still check the right side sockets (first rear/may not need to check front) by removing bulbs and checking sockets for corrosion, melted wires caused by resistance buildup, rust, and anything else that looks unusual. Next I would nevertheless replace the bulbs because the lead contact points on the bottom of the bulbs can become flattened and loose contact in the socket. In general, even if the bulbs look good they still my not flash if there is a problem with the socket or the lead contact points.
