my new 96 has the woodgrain console..and in MY opinion it is the ugliest thing in the world..

is there a carbon fiber ( still ugly but not as bad) console maker.. or can i find one with the same specs in plain ol' black ??..

i have the double wide radio. and im not sure if ive ever seen a plain console with the double wide radio..

can i paint mine ??.. if not ..i would be totally willing to trade for one in good condition

You could probably buy a sheet of carbon fiber and cut/apply it yourself.

I remember a site that had inserts you put over the trim they had brushed aluminum i'm sure they had carbon fiber and a bunch of others

I found this http://www.dashkitscovers.com/produc...d8b45349a51302 there is a bunch of other sites out there

Sand it down and paint it....all the stuff out there is hideous as an overlay.

Man, that looks awesome imo. Much classier than the 97-98 style.

That site actually looks pretty sweet!... I would love carbon fiber... but has anyone ever used them?... the pics they have on the site for examples are bogus dont get any bigger and can't see crap...

FYI, all you can do is cover or paint it. The 93/95 consoles, where some came in black, wont fit at all.

man I think its good considering its a 10+ year old car

Posted by: devilchild

ohh.. its a sweet console for 11 years old .. im just not the biggest fan of woodgrain... actually.. i pretty much hate it

A Mark wouldn't be a Mark without woodgrain. It's like Bogey and Bacall; Roy Rogers and Dale Evans; Will and Jada;..........Bobby and Whitney

I have NO CLUE who those people are..... lol

I don't know how it looks like but at 28 seconds, you can see that he changed his woodgrain. I think that looks pretty good

thats actually incorrect, 93-94 wont fit, 95 and 96 are the exact same.

Posted by: unity

Sorry, thats what I meant.

Posted by: hellvez

there is a supercharged mark on ebay that has a carbon fiber kit, you can only see it in one pick but it does not look that great it might look better on a black car says he paid 300for it

I've got a regular grey ashtray and cupholder from a 94. I think that those parts will interchange (Jamie?)

I'll trade them for the wood parts. It's a start.
