its been a while since ive posted or replied to any threads.. since i sold my 93 mk8 ive been neglecting my fellow lincoln fanatics.. but i figured i'd let you know that i just recently purchased a flawless 96 lsc.. it is being shipped as we speak.. and i will be posting some pics as soon as it arrives..

now i need some suggestions for my new license plate..

Every state but PA has a front license plate law.

or Indiana.....as soon as I hit the border - out of the windshield into the pasgr back pocket! Ohio is anal about it, but the only time I have ever had a cop in front of me is when I was pulled over for bne...there were about 10 all around me then (yes it was a case of mistaken id!).

anyway.. i do have front plates but thinking of removing the mount and sticking the plate in the windshield..

Looks good on Drillers!....I'd reconsider the backward name thing...in todays security conscious and identity theft society..ya know.

Good Luck on not getting razzed about the front windshiled, (like I said when I contributed to stealing your thread) I keep mine there also, but when ever I get pulled over, they give me a hard time about it. I just try to be nice to not get a ticket, cause I can't imagine it on him.

Oh one more thing, before you go planning out the amount of numbers letters spaces and all, check with your states website so you can see what your being offered and most states have a "make your plate" feature too (thanks Pepp, he hooked me up on OH's). Oh, might have to pass their scrutiny also.

Will list the latest updates. A lot of states have repealed the front plate law.

The front plate law here is really not enforced much due to the fact that the local news station did a story on it, Almost all of the judges & City council people don't have front plates (who is gonna put a front plate on a new Vette, Porche, Ferrarri, Lambo, etc...) After this was aired it seems that the front plate law is much less inforced and part of the law was changed. If your vehicle did not come from the factory with a place for a front license plate then it is exempt. I took mine off & tossed it! They look Horrible on the front of a Mark VIII.

is this gonna be stock or done up? if it's fast 666 is the number of the beast, well that's what iron maiden taught me.

some more for fast cars "owned" Lol-wtf wtf-lol 666 lol 666-wtf in my opinion putting the car name into the plate is a bit cheesy I would go with wtf lol because that is what people will say when you smoke past them.

In british columbia we have a new plate for the olympics so i'm gonna grab a 666 plate, are plates are 3 numbers dash 3 letter 666-***

Very nice. I knew you'd find one and very clean too. Looks like my current LSC on the outside with my first MarkVIII interior. My first was a 96base Tri-opal exterior with the Light grey interior. Current is a 96LSC Black/Black. I loved that interior and while the black is sporty...I think the you got a excellent combo. Take good care of it. My Black went to fade stripes real quick
