Got a problem getting into reverse, will not disengage, plus no brake lights, any suggestions?

why? its simple 2 wire switch, just under the dash on the pedal arm, usually just a broken wire, check for power on one, with the pedal up and should be power on both with pedal depressed, if no power at either then look at fuses and start figuring out why you blew a fuse. 99% of the time the wire will break at the switch. there is a taurus recall kit that has a new switch and a replacement pigtail that are the same
just to clarify the brake light switch is NOT the one for the recall

yeah,its not that scary...they should call it the Casper switch,then unity will know its safe to work with..
