I'm Starting to Plan the 08 Beach Party

As I'm thinking about the Beach Party I was wondering what you (those who will actually come not those who don't show) would say to a Hog Roast next year.

I have a friend who does them for people and it didn't sound like it would be too expensive.

I'd be asking for people to toss in a few buck but let me know what you think..

OK if you are interested The Beach Party will be the weekend of July 18, 19 and 20, of 2008.

If anyone has some suggestions for the Party please feel free to post ideas...

I'm working on a few ....

First as I told some members during chat night. The Boscobel Chamber of Commerce has decided to change the date of the Beach Party to the Fall of 08. So our Beach Party will not be a part of the there's. This will give us more freedom to have more fun on the cruise, as we won't have to worry about being back in time for any events. (well except the Hog Roast, but that we can work with).

I'm thinking of getting maybe a DJ for the back yard if you guys want one. But we'll see how things go. I've got good neighbors.. they'll be fine... I'll throw them some food and a beer.

The cruise will be a very scenic one this year as we will follow the Kickappoo River.

Not sure what else yet but I am working on things for Friday Night and Saturday after the cruise and food.

Jason, Chicken, and anyone else... if you want a room at the River Inn (608-375-8000) make sure to call soon and book so you are guarenteed a room. Remember all it take is one Wedding and that place will book up.

Yes, my back yard is free for camping as always...

OK.... Room Block is set for the 18th and 19th of July... Blocked under Rich Schneider...

So If you want to book your room go for it. Remember rooms in the area fill up fast..

Oh and I've alreay asked Ray to have the wedding at the meet but for some reason his fiance has other plans for the wedding. LOL

Well that's not a great option in Boscobel... Only if you have a Mid 90's or earlier TC or Conti.. nothing else in our bone yard, and Pepps you saw what was in it.

. I know that i always talk about it but it's always a money thing with me my job doesn't pay what i want it to. I do know where there is a Mark VII that might be for sale.

It's a 14.5 Hour drive from the Springs for Stac and I, We are talking about leaving earlyish on thursday, You mind if we show up late thrusday Rich? If you do, I can reschedule things to show up friday......
