the fuse box is almost the same as Town Car , IE at least 3-4 fuses that have to do with LCM ......
I had no break lites I checked the fuse that said "brake" it was cool. then changed the switch at the peddle , still no brake lights . I ended up sitting on the ground and pulling every fuse out, fourth to the last fuse I checked was burn out . so check all 20 amp (yellow?) fuses |

let me help, if im understanding correctly, gman bought a used OEM ballast, that had a glitch in it, and got another OEM ballast and it worked-right?
"glitch" is a member of .org that makes replacement ballasts (hence the confusion) |
Yes Chicken you are correct. My original ballast failed, I found another one, which had a "glitch" in it (Not to be confused with member "glitch)
). The second ballast didn't light up. It only lit up when the brake was pressed. I have been told that there are essentially to lighting sources in the ballast. one for the constant light, and one for the brake.
