Lincoln Continental 97 thermostat how do I remove

Hey I'm tryin to get info on how to remove the thermostat on my car I have no room under here ac lines in tha way what must I do to get this what should be a easy job done Ps I'd like to thank ford for puting me in this spot !!!!

actually it is not a hard job.you have to take off the airdam,and jack the cars front up high enough to be able to move freely(USE GOOD JACKSTANDS)it is a very heavy car.tale off the belt and unbolt the air compressor.you will have to turn it longways and carefully twist it up into the front right area.this will allow you to get to the therm bolts.the hose clamps are a bitch either get a proper set of clamp pliers or use vise grips to open them and just slde them up and away.while your in there id go ahead and replace all of the hoses with new ones.it souds much harder than it is,but it is time consuming and getting the compressor up is a puzzle,just take your time so you dont bust a knuckle.

the therm replaces from the bottom,make sure you face it the right way so as to not have to do it again.
